Seasonal closure in effect now until March. Tent campsites are closed for the winter. Partial and full hook-up sites are available for reservations by clicking the button above. 
The Jefferson County Fairgrounds campground is an 8-minute walk to Fort Worden State Park and 2 miles to downtown Port Townsend.

For best results, book your site in advance (before 1:00 pm the day of your arrival). Even if you arrive and see a vacant site, it must be reserved online. Sites that appear empty may not be available.

We are now fully CASHLESS. Please reserve and pay for your site online by clicking the button above.

Standard Camping Fees*:

Use of shower facilities and dump station included in campsite fee. Campsite fees are subject to retail sales tax of 9.1% (state and local).

  • Full hook-up $35 per night
  • Partial hook-up $30 per night
  • Tent no hook-up $17 per night
  • Non-camper shower $2.50
  • Non-camper dump fee $7

  • We have primarily 20 amp service and limited 30 amp service. No 50 amp service.
  • 22 Tent/no hook-up sites (no vehicles over 20' allowed in these sites)

Campground Rules

  • Camping fees to be paid on-line. We are not accepting cash payments.
  • Stays are limited to 10 days. Campers may return after 48 hours away. This is not a long-term campground. We reserve the right to limit the stay of any camper in the campground for facility needs. Please contact our office with any inquiries regarding other arrangements (leases).
  • Check-in time is 1pm unless prior arrangements have been made.
  • Check-out time is 11:00am unless prior arrangements have been made.
  • No arrivals after 10:00pm unless prior arrangements have been made.
  • Campsites must be occupied by the paying party. No purchasing of campsites for others.
  • Garbage must be deposited in the appropriate dumpsters and not be left around the outside of the RV/Tent.
  • Personal items left outside must be kept tidy and within your assigned space at all times.
  • Only one camping unit and one vehicle per campsite.
  • You are expected to be considerate at all times to other campers as well as our neighbors. Absolutely no loud or disruptive noise between 10pm and 9am. Please refrain from loud and unseemly language.
  • Alcoholic beverages/drug use is not to be in evidence at any time.
  • Generators are not allowed.
  • No campfires allowed. Controlled propane cook stoves or BBQ’s, and fire pits permitted.
  • There are no open firearms or fireworks of any kind allowed in the Fairgrounds
  • Washing, servicing or repair of tow vehicles, cars or RVs is not permitted.
  • No dumping or dripping of gray or black water except in the appropriate sewer hookup. ($500 fine per occurrence.)
  • Pets must be kept on a leash at the campground at all times. Clean up after your pet!
  • Campers are responsible for any damage to campground property.
  • Water supply will be disconnected by management if leaking is evident.
  • Refunds: No refunds will be given if you leave early by choice (including due to weather) or you are asked to leave for violating the above rules.

Jefferson County Fairgrounds Campground is a family friendly campground. If you do not follow the above rules, you will be asked to leave the campground and any campsite payments will be forfeited.

We have very high water pressure! Please be sure to use a pressure reducer on your water hose.

Liability: The Jefferson County Fair Association is not responsible for accidents, injuries or loss of property by fire, theft, wind, vandalism, or Acts of God.

Season Schedule

Closures:
  • County Fair - The Campground is closed to the public the week preceding the second Saturday of August.
  • Winter Season - No tenting allowed after rain renders our campground unusable, usually sometime in late October or November.
Groups

The fairgrounds can accommodate groups of all sizes. Your group will even get its own location on the grounds for the duration of your stay. Buildings are available with kitchen and restroom facilities if needed. Check out our Venues page or send us an email: info@jeffcofairgrounds.org.
